Espresso drinks, our specialty. We offer several basic drinks, but every one we make can be tailored to your tastes with a variety of milks and flavors.
TERMINOLOGY
Espresso: Describes both a roast of coffee and a preparation method where hot water is forced under a compressed bed of just ground beans. When prepared correctly, this drink should have a mouthwatering aroma and golden ring or crema, and is never bitter.
Cappuccino: Always an excellent choice. Made with a shot of espresso, steamed milk, and a thick, velvety cap of foam.
Caffe Latte: A favorite for its smooth and creamy texture. It is made with espresso and steamed milk, topped with a touch of milk foam.
Caffe Mocha: The grown up hot chocolate! We add Ghirardelli Chocolate sauce to our latte and top with fresh whipped cream.
Americano: Named for the way we take our coffee in the States, with lots of water. We prepare this drink with double espresso and steamed water.
Breve: The creamiest of them all. We prepare ours with double espresso and blend in thick, velvety steamed half and half with a dab of honey. Awesome! |
