Way back in 2003, our fearless leader, Tacy, had a hair-brained notion that downtown Christiansburg needed a fun and friendly place for neighbors to land and enjoy a good cup of coffee. After renovating the 100 year old building that we call home, she opened the doors to Christiansburg’s first coffeehouse, West Main Coffee Depot. We proudly offer local, fresh microroasts with several organic and fair trade certified varieties for those of you that are civic minded.

In the beginning, Tacy’s vision was for neighbors to have a place to sit and relax. She never anticipated that this little coffee shop would become an extension of our family. But that’s just what our customers are… family. We’ve seen toddlers become teenagers, middle school students become college graduates, college graduates become mothers and fathers. And since our shop has been managed by family since day one, our customers have watched Tacy’s kids grow up, graduate, and celebrate their own victories. These days, if you’re lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of her first grandchild stomping around like he owns the joint. Now that’s one big happy family.
